Brooklyn's Little Haiti

Right on...I've always considered Flatbush/Church,Nostrand,Rogers st and some areas of Prospect Park as my 'Little Haiti'. Thanks to the just Lord, now it's official...Whenever I'm visiting the ''Big Apple'';my trip would not be complete till I spend some time in the Brooklyn area, even though many Haitians who are living in the Long Island area consider Brooklyn as a ghetto..But to me Brooklyn is great, it's real life...it offers the good, the bad and the ugly of America.

Brooklyn has so much culture, and Prospect Park is one of the greatest parks in America...granted,I'm a bit biased because I've always loved, admired and really enjoyed New-York...regardless of my many complaints about the rudeness of the people of the city.

Again,congrats to the New York Haitian elected officials and the Brooklyn Haitian community that made It possible...Now,I'm dreaming of a ''Little Haiti'' in the Dorchester/Mattapan area of Boston,Massachusetts.
